The Security of Your Salvation Is in Christ

The security of our salvation is in jesus and what he did. It's not in us and what we did. Repentance is a response to the identity we have in christ. Wesley said that sin does not belong to a christ formed human nature. So we have the grace to reject sin. Our identity is not sinner any more. However, we will still sin. First john one nine says that we can repent and we can be restored. This should remove the fear that every time you sin, you are losing your salvat because that's not how this works.
