There's a massive amount of what's called rewritten Bible and literally thousands of pages of texts that fall into this category. Early church preserved many of these texts because they thought it was somehow, somehow featured Brodo Christian or whatever the case is. So we have to produce the subtext ourselves. And I do think that when all the answers are handed to you in a silver platter, that does produce a kind of separation between reader and text which ultimately is less satisfying than the original version.
