The Fear of the Lord and the Fear of Human Powers

Isaiah directs people to the teaching and testimony of the Lord. Any who rejects such words will grope in the darkness, starved of knowledge and guidance. A woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. She begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter; but he said: "Let the children be fed first" The dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs as a sign that they are not well-fed.
