Kyle and Porter's Ice Route
Kyle and Porter knew they had a finite window to get up this wall. The sun would start to bake the ice and snow by midday which can cause aerated ice, bad for protection. With a 45 degree snow slope above the cliffs, they didn't want to risk any instability with warming snow. On the first few pitches, Kyle and Porter swapped leads and Simon climbed up easier sections.
