Is Planning Overrated?

Dr. Lurengineer: I think part of that is because I was raised in an Indian family where you're sort of prescribed the life path pretty early in life. The reason planning is overrated is exactly what you said. You don't know who you are, you don't know very much about who you are when you're 18 or 19 or 20. So what's the lesson? And for me, the lesson is it doesn't mean, yeah, I just kind of wander around and don't worry about it. That's not what I would say is the lesson. Worry less about going somewhere quickly and more about getting better at going. Get better at exploring.
