The Dismemberment of a Body Part
In Judges 19, language is employed to describe the destruction and death of this concubine. But in Genesis 19, it's employed to describe salvation and deliverance of Lotner's wife. So why does he dismember the corpse? I mean, that is a horrific, unusual choice. Yeah. Well, I take it that he dismembered the corpse and sent the limbs throughout the territory of Israel to notify people, look how wicked they have become.
