How to Deal With a Meltdown
If someone in your life is having a meltdown, you're probably feeling judged by the people around you seeing the meltdown. Don't get so angry or judgmental and don't ignore them. Seek out those things that comfort them - they are not putting on a show for you. Bribing's different: You can't withhold things which will allow an autistic person to regulate their brain. For example, distracting children from over-stimulation of environments could be better than forcing them to stain something like a swimming pool with wet sand.
