How Important Is That Cub in Footprint?
Most of the varieties we grow will harvest on average of every 50 days. The key to geting the flowers to the consumers nice and fresh is to get them into the calstor as quickly as possible. We're just heading to the final stop in the production process here. I can see some kind of cream colored roses, very traditional, crimson coloured roses, pink ones, orange ones, yellow ones, some white ones. These would be going to the auction. How significant is that cub in footprint? And is there an argument for people actually not buying imported flowers because they worried about the environmental impact?
