The Chinese Government's Fine on Ant Group Could Bring It Into the FinTech Company's Years Long Revision

A Reuters report says Chinese authorities are likely to announce a fine of at least $1.1 billion on Ant Group that would supposedly bring it into the FinTech company's years long overhaul. The good news is that this means that it could clear the way for Ant to finally get a license to become a financial holding company, which would mean it would be regulated like other banks. Eunice: Maybe wanting the economy to grow again, being more concerned about that than some of the other issues that had held them back to them.
