The Sandlight's Relationship With Rome
Rome and the Sandlight's are starting to put out tentacles into northern campaigning, looking for a foothold there because obviously it's a wealthy area. By the 340s, Rome is developing interests well south of the Liris. treaties needed to kind of demarcate the spheres of influence. And in 354, this treaty is signed between the SandLight's and the Romans, which just establishes the River Liris,. He was the boundary between their respective spheres of influence but the real flush point is that they're continually pushing the boundaries.
