The Importance of Balance in Magic

I feel like if the game was so rigorously balanced that every deck was just as good as every other deck, it actually would be less fun. I think you having a range of power is, is a good thing and having a lot of texture within that range is good. Most decks would be able to take say 25% of the games against a better deck.
