The Reconceptualization of Race Inequalities
The book is a very interesting project. It initially started as a larger comparative multi-country project. At the time, I was a Syrian immigrant in the United States conducting my PhD. The travel ban passed just as so what in the UK would be the transfer versus the writing and the field work of the dissertation. And the experience of encountering the asylum process, the immigration process, the travel ban all informed the project.
