Bogle had a restrictive covenant on his, sort of agreement ot his previous firm. They said, you can't another fund management business and be sort of actively trading. And he said, yes, wel well, what ms if we don't actively trade, and we just buy the market in its sort of er in the percentages? That's how it became about mn. I'm sure he would have been, er, quite dogmatic to get th the tat the index fund created at some point. But that was the trigger point of it.
