Introduction

In 1928, a young student by the name of Simone Vay applied to one of the most prestigious universities in the entire world. The school was called the Echol Nomal Sepireor and its famous thinkers included Jean-Paul Sartre, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault. Of those 11 people that were accepted into her class, she was the only woman accepted. And upon completion of the certificate in general philosophy and logic, she scored the highest marks out of anyone that was taking the test at the time,. Her name was Simone de Beauvoir.
