How Do You Develop Your Material Through Crowd Work?

I started in 2005 as an open mic comic that became a house comic at Newport on the Love Be Funny bone. From 2005 to 2009, I did not do personal stories. And then it wasn't until I went and lived a life in Chicago where I had a period of not doing stand up as much. Like there was stuff that was like humorous to me that we would joke about as friends, that I never thought was interesting to a stage.
