We Can Communicate With Animals
Hierarchy in social relations, jealousy and power struggles are human universals. These elements of our human nature come up over and over because that's who we are. People criticised my first book for identifying masculinity with order and the hierarchy. But i think that's so comical, because almost all people who criticize me automatically assume that the patriarchy is masculine. And they don't notice that, actually, they're caught up in symbolic representation.
