Are these traditional theories operative right now? Why I think the Phillips Curl has not been operative since the late 1960s. The main thing about inflation is expectations and having people and companies understand that higher inflation isn't going to be allowed. Now, yes, the October numbers were a little bit encouraging probably most in the PPI.
