The ACTU's Lobby Group Demands a 7% Wage Rise for All Award Wages

The ACTU, the Union's peak lobby group, has asking for a 7% wage rise. The Australian Council of Tradings is the peak organisation for the Australian Union movement. I'm going to ask you, good, bad, indifferent, important, appropriate, reckless, what do you reckon? We have the opportunity to build back better because that was the old political line post COVID, but we kind of missed that opportunity, right? Like, almost entirely. We didn't change anything. Will we do better out of this one? Again, you'd hope so. Am I confident? No. But that's kind of how we find ourselves.
