That suggests that the end comes when and if Vladimir Putin feels his grip on power might be threatened by continuing the war. The danger is going to be Russia that there's this deep sense of bitterness over how they've been badly treated, he says. "I'm really worried because Ukraine is going to need enormous support," writes Bergen.
