The Three People

Bertram russell was born into an aristocratic british family. His father was queen victoria's prime minister, lord john russell. He went to cambridge to study mathematics but then got interested in philosophy and particular in the project of using philosophy to provide a foundation for mathematics. Then abandoned philosophy in favour of political activism - he was imprisoned during first world war. And that experience er, he it wasn't aly unpleasant. They were difficult to be around, but capable of being charming at times. And all incredibly consequential.
