You call out eight cognitive biases we hold that make it difficult for us to work through these kinds of thinking problems. Since we don't have time to talk about all of them, I've chosen several that we can discuss in detail along with the tips that you share for how to overcome them. The first one is confirmation bias: our tendency to confirm what we already believe. It is a tendency to draw a conclusion based only on the evidence that confirms what one is hypothesizing.
