The Women of Kasturba Nagar

The women of Kasturba Nagar didn't just show up at the court on a whim. They knew well that the courthouse had metal detectors, ones that would easily reveal any kitchen knives or other steel weapons they tried to smuggle in. The women made knives out of plastic, wood, glass and sharpened pieces of rock. Also carried small baggies of what would prove to be a surprisingly effective non-lethal weapon, chili powder.
