The Problem With Sheep Predation
I'm a force free trainer. I do not want dogs to be punished and sacked and shocked, but it's not my country. So I don't want to interfere with recommendations of what to do. It just observed from outside. What strikes me is why are people so fixated on this particular issue with livestock because you stumble across wildlife all the time. Wildlife is just everywhere. But you can totally avoid to stumble across sheep in certain places. In more extreme cases, where the dog, they've actually been really far away from the sheep, but the dog has had a history of chasing sheep,. You know, looks for the opportunity to chase sheep.
