The old world may have this wonderful foundation of knowing where the best places to grow vines are. But today's wine world is so competitive that you survive only by making better wine every year. Good old world wines have a grunt to them, depth, savour rather than sweetness. As I'm going to encourage you to taste now in your glass with the kind of non-angular sides and you will see, here we have that is tuscany in a glass.

Which region makes the best wine?
