We're all formed first off by the stories that we believe, secondly by our habits, third by our relationships and then fourth by our environment for us. Our apprenticeship to Jesus has to offset all of that. There's a story told about Bonhoeffer, Dietrich Bonhoeffer: What we're doing here has got to be stronger than what they're doing there. And I would say the same thing is true for you and me. We are built on purpose, like rabbi teacher. It gets more than tell fact from fiction or even right from wrong.
