Are You Being Purified Right?

In Jeremiah 35 and 36 we have this group of people called the Recovites. The key thing here is that they're nomads and you might think of them in terms of monks like a monastery but a monastery where they have families. They take vows to not drink alcohol it was also that they would not live in homes they would live in tents just like Abraham right? And so if I become resentful then it's not going to purify me.
