The Importance of Writing to Reader
"I'd rather be a rich artist than a poor author who hasn't found a reader," she says. "We're writing for the reader, so we are writing to them." She adds that it takes an awful lot of craft and market knowledge to do it successfully. The two biggest obstacles authors have with this exact debate is they don't know how to do that,. And so they use it as an excuse to not do it.
