The Second Century Address of Brigham Young Academy

Carl G. Maiser embraced the prophetic mission for a church school and labored selflessly to plant the seeds for his fulfillment. The magnificent university we now enjoy, some 10 million square feet of beautiful well-maintained buildings, over 35,000 students and 1,600 full-time faculty is the fruit of that early labor. That same prophetic vision has guided the growth of Brigham Young University since it transitioned from Brigham Young Academy in 1903.
