The French President's Visit to China
President Macron gave an interview aboard a flight on his way out between Beijing and Guangzhou during this three day visit to China he made the case for European strategic autonomy. I decided maybe out of a sense of being diplomatic to take it out but there's no doubt whatsoever that it doesn't serve Europe's interests to join what they see as an American crusade against China because they have their own interests and concerns also. The Europeans also believe especially the French more than anyone else that we are entering a multiple hour China is a reality that we have to deal with.
