This is something that i haven't heard a lot of writers talk about, but it has helped me so, so much. If you get specific, clear ideas that pop in your head at a inopportune moment, try to write down those deas if you can and save them somewhere. Save them in your scrivener project, even if they're messy, even if it's just like a piece of dialogue. For me, so much it's dialogue that it will be like my characters start talking, and i have to write down what they're saying to each other because i know oi goin to use this dialogue sometime.
