The Differences Between State Schools and Public Schools

I was under the impression that the quality of education was less in a state school, which is highly incorrect. I actually think I got a better education or a better level of teaching in my state school compared to my former public slash private school days. So for us, the stereotype, correct me if I'm wrong, state school people are quite comfortable, very happy to go to a state school. And they look at private schoolers as snobs, posh and- Up themselves.
