Is There a Village Online?

There was a wonderful episode of the sitcom My Name Is Earl, which if you've never seen it, basically every episode is Earl trying to right one sort of wrong that he's done to someone in his life. In this particular episode, he tries to right a wrong with a guy, but he can't do it because the guy dies the day before he like goes to make amends and stuff. I think it also says something about because they're digital nomads in that they're physically homeless, but I think a lot of them would describe maybe they're like them having a village online, you know what I mean?
