The Key Point That Most People Miss Is Your Survival
i think from an economists perspective, you know, particularly austrian economists, they understand economics from a subjective lense. They don't understand that all economic value exists because humans are there to value things. And it's incoherent as an end in itself. If that was the end on its own, well, then you die, and then you can't value it, and you can't even know if it's there. It's more like we optimize the earth to make it most human friendly place possible. But when we preserve aversion for us but yet still want to enjoy it, we're not really preserving anything.
