Former Khmer Rouge leader Nordam Sienog has been under house arrest since stepping down as head of state. But Polpart understands the hold the former king still has over the nation. At dinner, Sienog is totally disarmed by Polpart's charisma. He wants him to address the United Nations, to ask for assistance from the Security Council. The following day, a Sienog leaves for America. Meanwhile, at S21, Comrade Doyk is told that the time has come to wind things up. His task is now to liquidate all remaining prisoners. A group of Cambodians held responsible for murdering Malcolm Caldwell are among the last to be tortured and killed here
