Snowden revelations maye me realized that effectively, my worst nightmares about big data and a i were true. And you know, i don't think activists who are working on things like climate change, or even revolutionaries, should be targeted. I was very sceptical of lockan technology when it first appeared. A cryptographically verifiable log seemed to be just a sort of great concept. But i misunderstood, and it took me a few years to understand, is that the tec monopolies had essentially created a a disaster. So yes, o i decided, well, look, this isn't really going anywhere."
