There's so many things about it that were really never portrayed before on camera. Like the beauty of chess. I don't think that had really been portrayed before like that. And also that it was a glamorous game. So I felt like it really helped me be able to convey to people what chess means. There was a lawsuit because they at some point, a commentator in the match where Beth Harmon is playing for Gop says that Beth is the first person to ever play at this level. She sued Netflix for defamation and I think the case is still under way. Once you create in that way, you do have a little bit more sympathy when what seems like grotesque errors come up.
