On page 83, Benson inferred that Brown could be excommunicated from the church just as early church apostles had been excommunicated. That's a pretty significant tension in the quorum if one quorum member is recommending that a member of the first presidency might beExcommunicated. And maybe part of why he was dropped is because one, Brown was in the minority and two, there was just so much tension, they just wanted to drop the tension.
