The Challenges of the World Monuments Fund

The world monuments fund heard the call and has put that on the list. It's a pre columbian, native american site that's threatened by construction. So we panted five thousand trees and worked with 25 different communities to bring back this traditional architectural knowledge. The batamariba people build these huge compounds of earth. Even though these are earthen structures, they use wood in the frame. And one of the challenges was they had no access to wood.
