Ryanair's Legal Challenge to Facial Recognition Software
The latest legal challenge against Ryanair is coming from the European privacy advocates, NOIB or none of your business and this is all to do with facial recognition software. So apparently what's been happening is that Ryanair has been requiring passengers to verify that they have made these bookings with third party companies. In a statement Ryanair noted it's non-existent relationships with online travel agencies and frequent instances of malpractice negatively affecting consumers. They told us Ryanair has no commercial relationship with any OTA nor are they authorized to sell our flights.
