The chronos side chain is the second part of crypto dot com's native block chain. It was built using the cosmos dk, and therefore uses the tendermint proof of state consensus agarithm. In contrast to the crypto dot org chain, the chronos sideChain is smart contract compatible thanks to ethermint. This means etherium developers can easily deploy daps on chronos. And these daps can be accessed using a popular etherium browser extension, such as meta mask.
