Smart plugs are little bricks that you plug into your wall and then the whole thing is about an inch or a little bit less than an inch and there's a plug on the outside. You can set it up for power savings, maybe you've got a floor lamp that's plugged in and then it's not a smart lamp or you don't have a smart switch attached to it.
