What's the Story of the Revolution in Iran?
Iran has had three massive major nationwide revolutions in the 20th century obviously we remember the 1979 revolution which brought down the monarchy and replaced it ultimately with the Islamic Republic what we see today. In 1953 there was another democratic uprising it's called the nationalist revolution in which of a prime elected prime minister by the name of Mohammed most of that took over the government Iranians took to the streets kick the Shah out but of course that revolution came to a swift end when the CIA showed up to Iran with a suitcase full of cash led by Kermit Roosevelt.
