How to Extract Lithium From Cornwall's Water

It's quite a new industry really this lithium extraction technology it wasn't really known about six, seven, eight years ago. We're aiming to have up to 20 or 25 boreholes across the county that we can abstract this water from and we're expecting to be able to get between 500 and 1000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalents at LCE per year out of these boreholes. That equates to if you have about 200 kilograms of lithium in a car battery it's I don't know you can do the maths. There is also a hard rock project running in parallel that will essentially repurpose an old china clay pit that will that will be mining the lithium from the granite itself
