The Outer Space Treaty of 1967

Space law is governed by just a handful of treaties through the United Nations. Generally, there are five international space law treaties. The first and biggest one is the outer space treaty of 1967. It was just ten years after the Soviet Union had launched the first man-made satellite into space. Two years before the United States put a man on the moon.
