Tommy crosses a log and plank footbridge over the oxu river. His two captors, abduel and obed, stand on either bank. Tommy can hear whispering and branches rustling all around him. It's suddenly clear that they're in a rebel stronghold. This is an ambush. If only there was a way to warn them.
