The Holy Spirit Is on Me
Luke introduces joseph of arimathea to us. This is our first time encountering this person. He is a member of the council, which is surprising considering the part the council had in the condemnation of christ to his death. The women who had come with him from galilee followed and saw the tomb and how his body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments on the sabbath.
