Every muppet has a pocket of reality that they live in that is separate from sesamy street. The count's profile on sesame workshops web site does not use the word vampire, but does suggest that he may be a distant relative of count dracula. Vampires get cured in stuff. Not that often, but it's happened. Also, you think he moved in to this magician guy thinking he was also a vampire, cause they dressed the same. And he's e, we look similar.
