Theory that you read and engage with was written by real people. I think part of why it actually can take some of us some time to get there is that for so many of us, our education was dead white men. Like they're not they themselves have been treated as just these kinds of decontextualized geniuses up on a pedestal. They've all been dead for 100 years. And everything they wrote was originally in German. Why would you think of them as anything beyond a set of ideas?
