Surveillance in Patients With Baret Oesophagus

In patients with peratosophagus, surveillance is based on the base line degree of displasur that you had. If you have no displasi at base line, then you undergo endoscope every three to five years. High grade displasia is an area that we start getting concerned about because it's very close in the continuum to sophigal adno carsonoma. And guide lines currently recommend that endoscopic treatment is the way to proceed for treatment for patients with high grade displasion.
