The federal reserve, the central bank, they target two % inflation to keep prices stable. If you got seven % inflation, that is telling you that the economy is weigh out of wack. So this is a very big risk to the economy and it's one of the reasons why the stop market crashed like forty % in the early seventies. The person who tamed that inflation was called volkar, that's his last name. He brought was brought in and really brought the economy into a deprocession to stop inflation expectations.
